The Calgary Stampede
Nicknamed "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth", The Calgary Stampede is one of the worlds largest rodeos and festivals in Canada, spanning over ten days with more than one million visitors per year.
The Calgary Stampede is an annual rodeo, exhibition, and festival held every July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The ten-day event, which bills itself as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth", attracts over one million visitors per year and features one of the world's largest rodeos, a parade, midway, stage shows, concerts, agricultural competitions, chuckwagon racing, and First Nations exhibitions. Organized by thousands of volunteers and supported by civic leaders, the Calgary Stampede has grown into one of the world's richest rodeos, one of Canada's largest festivals, and a significant tourist attraction for the city. For our journey to Stampede we jetted off from Ontario to Alberta to Cowboys Dance Hall who hosted electronic music artist Diplo for the official Stampede after party. For this our team hung an array of LED decorations from the high ceiling as well as a glow body art station for all of the guests to enjoy!
